Chimney Fires
This is one reason why we go on about having your chimney swept professionally. After a recent sweep from another company we was contacted by the customer to be told they had a chimney fire a month after it had been swept. This is the cowl that was on the chimney system that was not checked as part of the sweep. Log burners need to be swept regularly and this is something we can help you with. Yearly reminders sent out to inform you when its time to get the sweep done.
